Holly Mulcahy

Executive Director

Holly Mulcahy brings a wealth of expertise in nonprofit leadership, audience engagement, and strategic planning to her administrative roles in the arts. As the Executive Director of The Michael O’Neal Singers, Holly combines her passion for music with her talent for organizational development, focusing on creating meaningful connections between the arts and the community.

In addition to her administrative leadership, Holly is an accomplished violin soloist who is passionate about performing works by living American composers. She has been featured as a soloist for concertos by Jennifer Higdon, Jim Stephenson, Philip Glass, and George S. Clinton, including The Rose of Sonora, a concerto inspired by stories of legendary women in the Old West.

A seasoned nonprofit leader, Holly is the founder of Arts Capacity, a 501(c)(3) organization that uses music to foster emotional growth and prepare individuals in prisons for reintegration into society. Her dedication to measurable impact has led Arts Capacity to track and demonstrate the transformative power of music on its participants, showcasing her data-driven approach to program development and evaluation.

Holly excels in crafting and implementing creative strategies that resonate with contemporary audiences while honoring tradition. Her leadership philosophy prioritizes collaboration, innovation, and the seamless integration of marketing, fundraising, and operational efficiency. Known for her forward-thinking approach, Holly has guided organizations through periods of growth and change, always with a focus on community enrichment and financial sustainability.
