The Michael O’Neal Singers (MOS), a renowned 130-member auditioned chorus based in Roswell, GA, is excited to announce an opening for an Assistant/Cover Conductor for their 2025–2026 season. This part-time choral position offers a unique opportunity for a developing conductor to gain valuable hands-on experience and receive mentorship from MOS founder and Music Director, Dr. Michael O’Neal.

The position is a one-year term, commencing on August 15, 2025, with applications closing on July 30, 2025. Responsibilities include learning all choral works, being prepared to conduct rehearsals and concerts as needed, attending all weekly rehearsals, and assisting in dress rehearsals and overall rehearsal planning.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong skills in choral conducting and music education, exceptional musicianship, and clear communication. This role is particularly suited for graduate students in conducting or music education, early-career conductors, or experienced church/community choir directors looking to expand their professional experience.
